ROLE OF A WOMEN AS BEING A MOTHER

Every year this day comes once and we are all so excited about it. We buy gifts for her, cook breakfast for her, give her a day off, surprise her with a party, pamper her, etc. But why do we do it all just for a single day? She gave all her time and life to her family. In return, she's only expecting the love and attention of her family.  Is she asking for more? Do we not give her all that she wants? Like us, as we want her unconditional love throughout life, she also wants love, respect, and care from her family. It’s time to tell every mom how special she is in our lives. She’s loving, caring, understanding, concerning and very hardworking. She always tries to make everybody happy and with everything she has been through, she always tries to keep a smile on her face. She never asks a single penny for the chores she did for the family. Even when she is in pain, she never says NO. She is always with us in any situation we are facing. A mother has to play many roles in her life.

• A daughter’s Mother

The Mother-daughter bond is so pure, full of love and affection. They enjoyed most of their time together. A mother is a daughter’s first best friend. She always teaches her daughter everything because she has already experienced past lives and does not want her daughter to go through them as well. She wants her to be brave and strong so that she can tackle every difficult situation.

• A son’s Mother

A son is always a little boy for his mother. An Irish proverb says "A man loves his sweetheart the most, his wife the most, but he loves his mother the longest. She raises him to feel proud and teaches him everything to become a man. The relationship between a mother and her son can only be tested when the son becomes a father and can relate his life to her. The life of a mother is more difficult than a father. As both care for their children, but the mother is most affectionate and emotional. 

• A mom’s Mother

The mother of our moms is our granny, Nani, or grandmother. Their relationship is just like a mother-daughter relationship. A grandmother only wants some respect and love from her children and grandchildren. This is the age she needs care from her child. The best way to show it is to listen to her carefully as she has gone through a lot, she knows more than anybody else. So, we have to respect her, listen to her with patience.  

I hope that on this Mother's Day, May 9th, 2021, you will express your feelings towards your mother, tell her how important she is in your life, give her time, and help her learn anything new in the younger generation that she needs to know to be a part of society, just as she teaches you. Even though, if you can't, she won't mind because she never asks for anything.
