Teacher's Day Gift Ideas for 2021 to Appreciate, Thank, and Make Your Teachers Smile
Teacher's Day is one of the most memorable days in the lives of both students and teachers. It's a day to honor and appreciate our teachers for their hard work and positive influence on our lives. It is the most widely observed day in schools and colleges. Every year on September 5th, the entire country shows gratitude to the teachers for their contribution to society on Teacher's Day. Students should respect and thank their teachers, and Teacher's Day is the perfect occasion to do so. Teachers have a massive impact on our lives. They can be our friends, parents, mentors, gurus, or bosses who help us through life's ups and downs.
Teacher's Day will be observed in India on September 5, 2021. This practice began in 1962 to honor the contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a former President, philosopher, scholar, teacher, and Bharat Ratna recipient, who was born on the same day in 1888. He was a well-known teacher who was always kind to his students. Every year, his birthday is observed as Teacher's Day in his honor.
Teachers are working extremely hard these days to help their students become the best in the world. Whether it's virtual technology or boosting your confidence with Extra Classes, they never leave any stone unturned in their quest to bring out the best in you. So now is the moment to express your gratitude to them.
On Teachers Day, this is the moment to go that extra mile and express your gratitude. Get them the most adorable, thoughtful, and one-of-a-kind gifts.
Tell them how much you love them no matter where you are now.
- First and foremost, give your favorite teacher a voice or video call to wish them a Happy Teacher's Day. You can also wish them on Facebook, Instagram, or Whatsapp.
- To offer your deepest gratitude and best wishes to your teacher, send them a cake with a flower bouquet.
- Religious sculptures can be an excellent gift for Teacher's Day. In school, we are taught that the school is a temple and the teachers are like gods. We value our teachers and consider them to be our role models. The Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of Knowledge, and her statue signifies a teacher's knowledge & care for their students, making it a great gift for teachers to receive from their students.
- Sending them candies, dry fruits, and a box of chocolates will create a lasting impression on your teacher's relationship.
- Handmade cards are a great way to show your effort and hard work, and definitely, your teacher will appreciate it.
- Gift them books like A Letter to My Teacher, Today I Made a Difference, Because I Had a Teacher, I Did My Homework In My Head, and other similar titles.
- Give him a Lucky Bamboo plant as a token of your appreciation for his constant positivism and good vibes. What could be a better gift than bamboo, which brings happiness, good luck, and charm into one's life? So purchase this one and absolutely astound him.
- A teacher is someone who has always stood by your side and helped you in a number of ways. They encouraged you to dream big and pursue your dreams. On Teachers' Day, thank them with a printed mug, a cushion, photo frames, pens, or diaries.
- One of the nicest gifts you can give to your teachers and mentors is a certificate that says "World's Best Teacher." You can send it to them on any occasion, such as Teacher's Day or their birthday, as a sign of your love and admiration for them.
Every school has different ways of celebrating Teacher's Day. In my school, students from class XII dressed up as teachers. Girls wore sarees while boys wore formal shirts and trousers. They go to different classes to teach subjects. The senior students give classroom sessions to junior students. It is different from regular teaching. Senior students are evaluated by actual teachers on their communication skills, teaching methodology, teaching style, and how engaging are their classroom sessions. Then, the highest scorer was awarded prizes the next day in the morning assembly, based on the distribution of classes (Class 3 to 5, Class 6 to 8, and Class 9 to 11). It was a good experience for us and also for those who wish to work as teachers in the future. Through this, we learned about a teacher's daily struggles and sacrifices.
I hope you find this post useful in planning what you will gift to your teachers on Teacher's Day.
