HEALTHY HABITS, HEALTHY CHOICES, AND A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE MAKE OUR HEART HEALTHY, SOUL PEACEFUL, AND FUTURE LONG-LIVED
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt with the heart.
The heart is the human body's power source. Without it, the body's organs begin to die.
Who wouldn't want a heart in good health?
Heart attacks are becoming increasingly common, especially among people over the age of 30. What could be the reason for this?
A healthy heart must be maintained by following a heart-healthy diet, exercising, controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels, reducing stress, getting adequate sleep, cutting back on alcohol use, quitting smoking, and adopting a positive outlook. A strong heart allows you to live a long and healthy life.
Every year on September 29, we mark WORLD HEART DAY to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and promote heart-healthy living.
As we all know, the five senses of the human body are linked to the brain, but they are also linked to the heart. The brain regulates the nervous system, which in turn controls the heart. The list below shows how heart disorders affect each of the five sensory organs.
- Eyes: Individuals with cardiovascular disease may also be more susceptible to visual issues. Poor cardiac health can impact blood flow to the eyes since the heart pumps blood to them, providing nutrients and oxygen.
- Ears: Impaired blood flow can harm your ears' hair cells, which may result in irreversible hearing loss.
- Touch (skin): Poor blood circulation causes skin symptoms such as purple lines on nails, blue skin, and swelling in the legs.
- Smell (nose): A blocked nose interferes with the sinus node, the heart's natural pacemaker that regulates heartbeat.
- Taste (tongue): A person with chronic heart failure will have a yellow-coated, redder tongue.
