A Cup of Tea for a Strong & Refreshing start of the day
After Water, Tea is the second most
popular beverage consumed by the people in the country. As we all know, it has
become an integral part of our lives. It's difficult to start a day full of
energy without it. The flavor of a tea varies depending on the person. People
nowadays prefer ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, tulsi leaves, and a few cloves in
their tea during the Covid pandemic. Tea is a healthy way to keep us warm when
we're cold. When each ingredient is combined with tea, it improves the result
and gives us the best taste and flavor. It aids us in reducing the stress and
anxiety that we face these days. It has the potential to improve our
resistance.
Tea is not only India's most
popular beverage, but it is also the country's national drink, as well as the
healthiest because it contains less caffeine than coffee. Tea's reputation for good health has been bolstered by its strong
antioxidant content. Because of the spices and herbs used, it is thought to be
a good source of health benefits. Cardamom, cinnamon, clove, ginger,
lemongrass, mint, and black pepper are some of the most common spices and herbs
used in tea. Spices are naturally healing, and adding them to tea helps to contribute
some of these properties to the tea.
After China, India is the world's second-largest tea producer. Over 70% of tea is produced and consumed in India alone, according to estimates. Its significance, however, is amplified during the rainy season. We crave it a lot more during the rainy season, particularly with some pakoras. So, we are going to ask our moms to prepare the same for us. The combination of tea and pakora makes the moment a delicious one. In the winter or in hilly areas, tea is served with Maggi noodles; in the summer, we prefer iced tea or lemon tea more.
My tea adventure has also been incredible. I start my day with a cup of Masala Tea or Masala Chai or Herbal Tea or Kadha, which includes an inch of ginger, 2-3 cardamom, a few cloves, few tulsi leaves, and a pinch of cinnamon, all blended with milk and tea and a spoonful of sugar. This Masala Chai is also known as Anti-Corona Tea since it contains all of the natural immunity-boosting ingredients but no milk or sugar. It helps to strengthen our immune system. It aids digestion, blood sugar control, weight loss, and overall wellness. During the day, I used to have a cup of green tea every now and again. Antioxidants are abundant in it, which aid to slow down the aging process. According to research, it aids in the improvement of our cognitive functions, weight loss, cancer prevention, and the reduction of the danger of heart disease. I'm going to have the same Masala tea or Lemon Mint Tea with some snacks in the evening. Lemon tea is made by boiling tea leaves in water, then adding chopped mint leaves and lime juice to the pot and serving it hot. This tea is a natural detoxifier that helps to detoxify the body while also boosting the immune system. Headaches, nausea, diarrhoea, and vomiting can all be relieved by drinking mint and lemon tea. Salicylic acid, found in mint, helps to prevent pimples and blackheads.
