India celebrates Wildlife Conservation Week every year in the first week of October, from October 1 to 7, with the goal of protecting and preserving the country's flora and fauna. Wildlife plays a critical part in sustaining nature's ecological equilibrium. The balance of the earth will be disturbed if the wildlife is killed. As a result, it is essential to safeguard it in order to live a better life. In the year 2021, we are celebrating the 67th National Wildlife Week. This year's theme for National Wildlife Week 2021 is "Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and the Planet".  Throughout the week, events and campaigns are held to educate people about animal life and to encourage them to rescue a significant number of animals by avoiding slaughtering them for food or other reasons. 5 Reasons Why You Should Adore Delhi

Image
Delhi, the capital of India, has a rich history and culture. It's one of my favourite cities, and I've wanted to visit it since my secondary school days. But I got the opportunity to be here in 2010 when I was posted and brought up here for my first job. It's like a dream come true. I have stayed in Delhi since 2010. Now that I am a Dilliwala, there is so much about the city, its vibe, culture, and so much more that I love. The rich history, the variety of food, fashion, people, and so much more- the city has a lot to love. Here are the top five reasons I adore Delhi. 1. A Rich History Delhi is a historically significant city. In ancient times, the city was known as Indraprastha , where Pandavas (from the Mahabharat ) lived. Understanding Respect & Self-Respect on National Respect Day

Image
"Respect is one of the greatest expression of Love"                                          -Don Miguel Ruiz.  Respect is a way of thinking or appreciating someone or something. It's an overall calculation of a person's accomplishments, abilities, and characteristics. Since childhood, we've been taught to respect everyone, including our parents, teachers, elders, our country, and so on. Receiving respect from others is important because when we respect someone, we will receive respect in return. Respect implies accepting someone for who they are, rather than criticising them based on their appearance, race, nationality and thoughts. When there is respect in a relationship, there is trust, and both parties cherish each other's opinions and advice. Respect is earned by learning in the same way that a child learns in school. To promote greater re...
