Major Dhyan Chand, the Hockey Wizard - the pride of India and an eternal hero of Jhansi

The first name that often comes to us when we hear about Jhansi's smart city is VEERANGANA RANI LAXMI BAI. Indeed, a magnificent warrior who embodies the epitome of courage and bravery. She put in far too much effort to fight the British for India's independence. One of a renowned 1956 Padma Bhushan receiver is also from Jhansi. Major Dhyan Chand, the hockey wizard, settled in Jhansi after six years of schooling in Allahabad, following his father's several army deployments. He practised hockey at Hero's Ground, Sipri Bazar Jhansi. Hero's Ground, which was previously rocky and uneven, has been redeveloped by CM Yogi as a tribute to Major Dhyan. It now has a synthetic track, boundary walls, grass, lights, and three gates for player entry, and more to visit.   Everyone adores their hometown because it is where they have lived their entire lives. Today I'm going to tell you about Jhansi   and the places that attract tourists and local people. Jhansi was a well-known city during its historical times. It is situated in the Bundelkhand region, between the Pahuj and the Betwa rivers. It is best visited between the months of November and March, when the temperature is cool. Jhansi is historically significant because of the famous fighter " Lakshmi Bai: The Queen of Jhansi ," who bravely fought multiple battles against the British. She perished in a war when she was only twenty-two years old. Her patriotism, courage, and heroism are still remembered today. Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, an Indian poet, wrote "Jhansi Ki Rani" in honour of Lakshmi Bai, a poem that is taught in every school.
